Weight distribution is one of those things that separates a rifle that just shoots from a rifle that hangs steady on target and settles fast between shots. This 5-pack of MDT ACC Interior Forend Weights gives you a clean, purpose-built way to load mass out front on your ACC chassis so you can find the balance point that works for your discipline and your position.

Each weight drops into the interior channel of the forend and threads in from underneath, meaning you can add or pull them without ever removing your barreled action. You take off the forend cap, slide the weights into the spot you want under the barrel, and screw them into place. Run all five for maximum mass or use fewer to fine tune. Fully loaded, the set brings 2.6 lbs to the front of the gun, with each weight coming in at roughly half a pound including hardware.

What the ACC Forend Weights Bring to the Bench

The real trick here is adjustability. There are three sets of mounting holes so you can shift the weights forward or back inside the barrel channel in 20mm (about three quarter inch) increments. That lets you push the balance point out toward the muzzle for a heavier hold on barricades, or keep it rearward for a livelier feel. Built from case-hardened steel, they pack density into a compact footprint.

Keeping Your M-LOK Real Estate

Adding weight up front usually means giving up accessory space, but MDT designed around that. The weights include an underside clearance slot and side clearance slots so you can still mount M-LOK accessories like arca rails, bipod mounts, or barricade stops to the ACC forend even with the full stack installed. Nothing gets in the way of the rest of your setup.

These are made specifically for the interior barrel channel of the ACC chassis family and will not fit other MDT chassis systems, so make sure your rig is an ACC before you order.
