Most 5.56 cans make you pick a lane: short and loud, or quiet and long. The AB Raptor F22-56-STD takes a different route. Instead of stacking conical baffles that force gases to crash into hard corners, AB Suppressor machines spiral baffles that peel gas off the bore and send it spinning. That rotation bleeds off energy fast, which means less back pressure coming back through your action, less gas in your face on a semi-auto, and a deeper, more pleasant tone at the muzzle. It is a smarter way to burn off blast, and you can feel the difference on an AR after a full mag.
This is the trick that sets the Raptor apart. The included Reflex mounting system lets the suppressor extend back over the barrel, using that dead space to grow the blast chamber volume without adding an inch to your rifle's overall length. You get big-can performance in a package that still swings and handles like a shorter setup. Prefer to run it conventionally? The flush mount end cap is in the box too, so you can set it up either way depending on the rifle. A six pin tool is also included for swapping configurations.

The base threads can be converted to the common 1.375×24 pitch with the optional Raptor Adapter, opening the door to a huge range of aftermarket QD mounts and muzzle devices. The titanium construction with a black finish keeps the 1.625 inch diameter tube light on the end of your barrel, and the 1/2×28 direct thread pattern matches the vast majority of 5.56 muzzles out there.

Traditional conical baffles work by making gases slam into angled walls, which stops energy but builds pressure. The Raptor's spiral baffles peel gases off the bore and put them into a spin, burning off energy more efficiently. The result is reduced back pressure, less gas blowback on semi-autos, and a lower, deeper tone at the shooter's ear.
The Reflex mount lets the rear of the suppressor extend back over your barrel instead of hanging everything out past the muzzle. That extra space over the barrel significantly increases the blast chamber volume, which improves suppression without making your rifle any longer. It also comes with a flush mount end cap if you would rather run it as a conventional direct thread can.
