Description

Big bore rifles deserve a can that can keep up, and the Raptor 10 Stack from AB Suppressor was built with exactly that in mind. Rated for .338 Lapua, .338 RUM, .338 Weatherby Mag, .338 Federal and the increasingly popular 8.6 Blackout, this is the full-length 10 spiral version of AB's flagship design. Machined from Grade 5 titanium and finished in Cerakote, it comes in at just 9.5 ounces, which is remarkable for a suppressor handling magnum-level pressures. At 7.2 inches long and 1.625 inches in diameter, it stays trim enough for a hunting rig while still packing enough baffle stack to take real bite out of a .338.

Spiral Baffles Set the Raptor Apart

Instead of conical baffles that force gas to slam into hard angles, AB's Spiral Technology peels expanding gas off the bore and sends it into a spin. That rotation burns off energy quickly and efficiently, which does two things you will notice at the range: a noticeably lower tone at the ear and less back pressure coming back through your action. Less back pressure means a cleaner-running rifle and a more pleasant experience behind the glass.

Reflex Mounting Adds Volume, Not Length

The included 5 inch bull barrel Reflex mount is where this can really earns its keep. It lets the suppressor extend rearward over the barrel, dramatically increasing blast chamber volume without adding an inch to your overall setup. Prefer a traditional direct thread arrangement? The included 5/8×24 flush mount end cap has you covered. And if you run QD mounts across several rifles, the optional Raptor Adapter converts the base to the industry standard 1.375×24 pitch so it plays nice with a wide range of muzzle devices.

Why the Raptor 10 Stack Makes Sense

For anyone running a precision .338 bolt gun, building an 8.6 Blackout, or juggling multiple rifles with one tax stamp in mind, this configuration hits a sweet spot of weight, sound reduction and flexibility. It ships with the Reflex mount, flush mount, end cap and six pin tool, so you are set up right out of the box.

Frequently Asked Questions

What calibers can the Raptor 10 Stack .338/8.6 handle?

This model is rated for the big .338 family, including .338 Lapua Magnum, .338 Federal, .338 Weatherby Mag, .338-378 Weatherby and .338 Remington Ultra Magnum, plus 8.6 Blackout. Since it has a .338 bore, you can also run smaller calibers like 6.5 and .30 caliber through it, though a caliber-specific bore will always squeeze out a bit more suppression.

How does the Reflex mount on the AB Raptor work?

The included 5 inch bull barrel Reflex mount lets the suppressor slide back over the barrel rather than hanging entirely off the muzzle. That extra rearward space significantly increases internal volume for better sound performance without making your rifle any longer. If you prefer a conventional setup, the included 5/8×24 flush mount works like a standard direct thread can.

Can I use the Raptor with QD mounts from other brands?

Yes, with the optional Raptor Adapter. It converts the base threads of the suppressor to the industry standard 1.375×24 pitch, which opens up compatibility with a huge range of quick detach mounts and muzzle devices on the market. The adapter is sold separately.

Why do spiral baffles matter compared to traditional cone baffles?

AB's Spiral Technology peels gas off the bore and spins it, burning off energy instead of forcing it to crash into angled walls like conical baffles do. The result is a lower, softer tone at the shooter's ear and noticeably reduced back pressure. On gas guns and precision rifles alike, less back pressure means less gas blowback and a cleaner-running system.
