80 BELOW earned its name in the field, and the CLP2 aerosol is the reason. This is a true all-in-one that cleans, lubricates, penetrates and protects in a single spray, built around a synthetic formula that keeps flowing when the mercury drops. If you've ever watched a lesser oil thicken into gum on a frosty morning, this is the stuff that solves that problem. Cold-weather hunters and duck blind regulars have quietly passed it around for years, and it has a reputation for keeping actions running smooth when the weather turns nasty.
The formula is rated to stay effective across a huge temperature swing, roughly 80 below zero on the low end up to around 450 degrees on the high end. It won't freeze, gum up or turn sluggish in the cold, which is exactly what you want in a lubricant that has to work when it matters most. It's also virtually odorless, so you're not stinking up the truck cab or the house after a cleaning session.
This isn't a gun-only product. It's safe on a wide range of finishes including wood stocks, blued steel and painted surfaces, and plenty of folks reach for it on fishing reels, ATVs and other moving gear that needs to stay smooth. Spray it into an action to break loose fouling and carbon, wipe it down, then let the protective film guard against rust and corrosion between outings. A little goes a long way, and the aerosol makes it easy to reach pins, rails and tight internals without pulling everything apart.
This listing is a full case of twelve 6 oz cans, which is the smart buy for a range, a gun shop, a hunting camp or anyone who just hates running out mid-project. Keep one in the truck, one on the bench, one in the blind and stash the rest. It's a workhorse maintenance product, and having a dozen on hand means you never have to ration it.
Yes, that's the whole point of the formula. It's synthetic and rated to stay effective in extreme cold without freezing or gumming up, roughly down to 80 below zero. Cold-weather hunters, especially waterfowlers, have leaned on it for years to keep actions cycling when other oils thicken.
Absolutely. While it's a fantastic firearm CLP, it's also popular on fishing reels, ATVs and other sporting gear that needs smooth, reliable movement. It's safe on a variety of finishes including wood, blued steel and painted surfaces.
CLP stands for clean, lubricate and protect, and this one adds penetrating power to that list. It breaks loose fouling and carbon, leaves behind a lubricating film for smooth operation, and lays down a protective layer that guards against rust and corrosion. One product handles jobs that used to take three.
The 12-pack is built for people who go through it, like ranges, gun shops, hunting camps and anyone who cleans a lot of gear. Buying a full case means you can keep cans stashed in the truck, on the bench and in the blind without constantly restocking. It's the practical move if CLP is part of your regular routine.
