Marble Arms has been building rifle sights since 1900, and the .375" 37-MR fiber optic front sight carries that same reputation into a package that works great on modern hunting and range guns. The star of the show is the orange fiber optic rod. It pulls in ambient light and glows, giving you a bright aiming point that's easy to pick up against dark timber, brush, or a shadowed target. When you're trying to get on target quickly, that pop of color makes a real difference.
This is the ramp-style version, so it drops into a front sight ramp with a 3/8" dovetail and a .340" wide base. The sight blade stands .375" tall and has that classic Marble contour, gently sloping toward the front so it looks right at home on a traditional rifle. The whole thing is CNC machined from solid steel, then polished and blued to match the finish of your gun rather than standing out like an afterthought.
The .060" diameter optic rod is flared and locked into place at both ends, and the fibers are polished to move as much light as possible to your eye. Marble also treats the rod to hold up against UV exposure, so it won't wash out or get brittle after a summer of sun. Orange tends to be the go-to for folks who hunt in green surroundings, since it separates from foliage better than a green rod does.
Installation is straightforward if your rifle already runs a compatible ramp. The important part is getting the height right, and Marble and Williams both publish sight height charts so you can match the .375" figure to your setup and keep your point of impact where it belongs. If you're swapping out a worn bead or an old fixed blade, this is a clean upgrade that brings faster target acquisition without changing the character of the rifle.
The 37-MR is a ramp-style sight designed to fit a front sight ramp with a 3/8" dovetail and a .340" wide base. It's meant for rifles set up to run a ramp-mounted front sight. If your rifle uses a barrel-mounted sight instead, you'd want the wider .531" base 37-W version.
Sight height determines where your rounds hit, so matching it matters. Marble and Williams both publish sight height charts, and measuring your existing sight with a micrometer is the surest way to confirm you need the .375" height before swapping.
Orange tends to stand out better against green backgrounds like foliage and timber, which is why a lot of hunters prefer it. Green can blend into leafy surroundings in certain light. Both colors glow bright, so it really comes down to where you shoot and personal preference.
Marble flares and locks the optic rod at both ends so it stays put, and the fibers are polished to maximize light transmission. The rod is also treated to resist UV damage from long-term sun exposure, so it won't wash out or get brittle after heavy outdoor use.
