Description
When you've invested in a Zero Compromise ZCO optic, you don't want to bolt it to just any mount. Geissele built this Super Precision Zero Compromise mount for exactly that scope, with a 36mm ring set, a 1.54-inch optical centerline, and a 20 MOA cant that gives your turret more room to climb for extreme long-range work. It's a one-piece cantilever design machined from a solid block of 7075-T6 aluminum, then finished with a Type 3 hardcoat anodize that shrugs off field abuse.
The 20 MOA inclination (that's 5.7 MIL) is the headline feature here. By building that angle into the mount itself, you free up usable elevation on the optic so you can dial deeper into the distance before running out of turret travel. The extended 2.5-inch cantilever pushes the scope forward for proper eye relief without needing a separate bridge, which keeps the whole setup clean and purpose-driven.
What Sets the Super Precision Zero Compromise Mount Apart
Instead of a lever system, Geissele uses an updated nut and bolt method that clamps to your Picatinny rail with roughly 1,400 pounds of force, which they rate at up to three times more than typical lever mounts. That kind of grip, paired with precision-machined shear lugs and a compact footprint, is what keeps the mount planted under recoil and repeated use. The six-screw ring caps and line-bored 36mm rings mean the tube seats evenly across the full surface, so there's no lapping needed and your point of impact stays put.
Who Reaches for a 36mm 1.54" Zero Compromise Mount
This is a precision rig component, plain and simple. If you're running a ZCO scope on a flat-top AR or a long-range bolt gun and you care about repeatable zero through drops, heat, and hard mounting cycles, this mount earns its keep. The 1.54-inch height gives a natural cheek weld and sight picture on AR-pattern rifles, and the whole thing installs and comes off with common tools when you need to pull your optic.

Frequently Asked Questions
What optics does the Zero Compromise scope mount fit?
It's purpose-built for the Zero Compromise ZCO optics line, including the ZC420, which use a 36mm main tube. The rings are line bored specifically to 36mm, so any scope with that tube diameter will seat correctly. If your glass is a standard 34mm or 30mm, this is not the right mount.
Why does this mount have a 20 MOA cant?
The built-in 20 MOA (5.7 MIL) inclination tilts the optic to give you more usable elevation on the turret for extreme long-range shooting. It lets you dial deeper into the distance before you run out of internal adjustment travel. If you mostly shoot inside a few hundred yards, a 0 MOA mount may make more sense, but for stretching a ZCO to its limits, the 20 MOA is the way to go.
Does the mount need lapping or a torque spec to install?
No. The 36mm rings are line bored for a precise fit straight out of the box, so there's no lapping required. Geissele's nut and bolt system clamps to a Picatinny rail with around 1,400 pounds of force and installs with common tools, no special torque wrench needed.
Will this mount hold zero if I take it off and put it back on?
Yes. The precision-machined shear lugs and heavy clamping force are designed to drop the mount back onto the same spot on the rail, giving you solid return to zero. The one-piece 7075-T6 billet construction also keeps the rings aligned through recoil, drops, and repeated mounting cycles.
