Description

American Rifle Company built the M-BRACE rings around one stubborn problem that plagues conventional rings: the way they roll your scope out of alignment every time you tighten screws on opposite sides. These 30mm Low rings sit at a 0.94" height measured from the optical centerline to the top of the rail, and they're machined in the USA from high-strength 7075 aluminum with a matte-black anodized finish that shrugs off weather and handling.

What Makes the M-BRACE 30mm Rings Different

The magic is in the uniquely split ring design. Clamping force is applied symmetrically, so your reticle stays exactly where you set it during installation instead of twisting as you alternate screws. That same engineering means the rings sit torsionally relaxed between mounts, which is why they give you such reliable return-to-zero when you pull the scope off and put it back on. The low profile also keeps your sight picture clean and leaves plenty of room to read your turrets.

Fit, Grip, and Rail Engagement

These rings are cut for 30mm scope tubes and designed to drop onto any Picatinny (MIL-STD-1913) rail. The rail interface is built to precisely engage even rails that don't quite hit Mil or STANAG spec, so you get a solid, repeatable lockup. Under the heaviest recoil the M-BRACE holds firm without denting or marring your tube, and stainless steel hardware is used throughout for strength and corrosion resistance.

Getting the Torque Right on Your M-BRACE Rings

One thing worth knowing up front: ARC spec is 55 in-lbs (6.2 Nm) on both the scope clamp and rail clamp screws. That reads high compared to other brands, but it's intentional. These rings use a single larger-diameter clamp screw instead of several small ones, so it takes more torque to generate the same grip. A quality torque wrench is the way to go, and ARC recommends starting lower around 40 in-lbs if you're mounting a vintage scope with a thinner tube.

Frequently Asked Questions

What scope tube and rail do the M-BRACE 30mm Low rings fit?

These rings are made for 30mm scope tubes and mount to any Picatinny (MIL-STD-1913) rail. The rail interface is designed to engage correctly even on rails that don't perfectly meet Mil or STANAG spec, so you get a clean, repeatable fit across a wide range of setups.

How tall are the Low (0.94") rings and will my objective clear the barrel?

The 0.94" height is measured from the optical centerline down to the top of the rail. Low rings work well with smaller to mid-size objectives, but if you're running a large objective bell it's worth doing the penny-stack check ARC recommends, or stepping up to a medium height to be safe.

Why is the torque spec on the M-BRACE rings so high at 55 in-lbs?

It looks high next to other brands, but it's by design. ARC uses a single larger-diameter clamp screw rather than several small ones, so more torque is needed to reach the same clamping force. A good torque wrench is recommended, and for older or thinner-walled vintage scopes ARC suggests starting around 40 in-lbs to avoid tube deformation.

Will these rings keep my reticle level during installation?

Yes, that's the whole point of the split M-BRACE design. Clamping force is applied symmetrically so the scope doesn't roll as you tighten, which keeps your reticle aligned and helps the rings return to zero when you remount the optic.
