You drop the mount into the rail and snug the two mounting screws to about 30 in-lbs, then slide your light into the clamping ring and tighten those screws to roughly 25 in-lbs. No, this is the KeyMod version and only attaches to KeyMod handguards. BCM makes a separate M-LOK-compatible version of this same mount under a different part number if your rail uses M-LOK slots. Double-check which attachment system your handguard has before ordering.
