It gives you flatter trajectories and better wind performance than a 6mm with more bullet weight on target, while recoiling noticeably less than bigger 6.5 and magnum options. That makes it a great pick for deer, antelope, and similar game at extended ranges, plus long range steel when hunting season is over.
Yes, the 22 inch stainless barrel comes threaded from the factory, and current Fierce steel barrels use the common 5/8×24 thread pattern. That means most popular suppressors and brakes will spin right on without an adapter. It is always smart to confirm the threads on your specific rifle before ordering a muzzle device.
