Description
There's a reason competitive shooters keep adding these to their rigs. The Baker Wings were built by Keith Baker, an MDT Prostaff shooter and multi-national PRS match winner, specifically to solve the wobble and inconsistency that comes with shooting off barricades, bags, and other less-than-ideal positions. Instead of fighting your rifle to keep it settled, these wings widen the forend so your support hand has more real estate to work with, which translates directly into steadier holds and more predictable recoil tracking.
What the Baker Wings Actually Change on Your Rifle
Bolting a pair of these onto your chassis adds roughly two inches of width to your forend, giving you a flat, grippy surface to load into a bag instead of balancing on a narrow rail. The underside grip tape keeps things planted even when you're pressing hard into a barricade edge, and each wing has an integrated QD flush cup so you're not sacrificing a sling mount to gain stability. There's also a notch machined into the rear of each wing so AR-15 front takedown pins stay fully accessible, and a slotted rear hole that lets you shift the wings further back on Remington 700, Tikka, and Savage inlet ACC chassis setups.
Mounting the Baker Wings Without Losing Your ARCA Rail
These attach through four full M-LOK slots using the included hardware, and the design keeps the entire length of your ARCA rail clear underneath, so tripod mounts, bipods, and other ARCA accessories still slide freely. They're built around the MDT ACC Premier and Elite chassis but work just as well on the ESS, TAC21, and LSS-XL Gen2, plus most competition chassis and AR-10/AR-15 setups that have four open M-LOK slots up front.
Why the Material Choice Matters
6061-T6 aluminum keeps the wings light at right around 0.4 pounds each, so you're not adding meaningful weight to the front of your rifle while still getting a component that can take a beating on concrete barricades and rocky rests match after match. The black finish matches most chassis coatings, and the fit and finish holds up to the kind of repeated abuse that comes with a full PRS season.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will the MDT Baker Wings fit my chassis or rifle stock?
As long as your forend has four open M-LOK slots, you're good to go. They're built around MDT's ACC Premier and Elite chassis but also work on the ESS, TAC21, and LSS-XL Gen2, plus a wide range of other competition chassis and M-LOK equipped AR-10 or AR-15 forends.
Do the Baker Wings block my ARCA rail?
No, the wings are designed to sit clear of the ARCA rail on MDT's ACC chassis, so you can still slide a tripod adapter, bipod, or other ARCA accessory the full length of your forend without interference.
Is mounting hardware included with the Baker Wings?
Yes, both the left and right wing come with all the screws and M-LOK T-nuts you need to install them, so there's nothing extra to source before you get them on your rifle.
Can I still access my AR-15 takedown pins with these installed?
Yes, each wing has a notch machined into the rear specifically to clear the AR-15 front takedown pin, so you won't need to remove the wings to break down your upper and lower.
