The Hogue overmolded rubber grip has finger grooves and a padded backstrap that settle comfortably in the hand, and since it shares the Cobra grip frame, swapping to wood or larger aftermarket grips down the road is easy.

Yes. Because 22 LR cases are so much smaller than centerfire rounds, Colt fits 10 chambers into the cylinder instead of the usual six. That means fewer reloads and more time shooting, which adds up fast during a long range session.
It is one of the better options out there for that job. The 22 LR cartridge has almost no recoil, the steel frame soaks up what little there is, and the trigger is smoother and lighter than most rimfire revolvers. The adjustable rear and bright fiber optic front sights also make it easy to see exactly where shots are landing and correct from there.
You can. It comes with a comfortable Hogue overmolded rubber grip with finger grooves, and it shares its grip frame with Colt's other modern Cobra series revolvers. That means there is a healthy aftermarket of wood and oversized rubber grips if you want a different look or a fuller feel in the hand.
