The UD6 Picatinny Chassis builds on the proven UD platform but replaces the traditional buffer-tube interface with a solid rear Picatinny mounting point. That means your buttstock attaches and detaches instantly without compromising repeatable return-to-zero, making this setup ideal if you need to pack light or store compact.
The Picatinny rear mount is the main upgrade here. Instead of threading onto a buffer tube, your stock locks onto a 1913 Picatinny rail. You get detachable storage without the hassle, and the return-to-zero stays solid because the mounting interface doesn't shift. It's a practical upgrade for anyone hauling gear to the range or managing space at home.
This chassis accepts Ultradyne's adjustable grip system, so you can dial in the trigger-finger distance to match your hand size and shooting style. The adjustable thumb rest lets you fine-tune your positioning for repeatability and comfort during long shooting sessions. You also get a dedicated spare-round holder that keeps two rounds accessible without fumbling.
Machined from a single piece of 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum, the UD6 weighs between 1.1 and 1.5 pounds depending on configuration. The chassis includes an integrated ARCA rail along the forend, M-LOK slots on three sides for accessory mounting, and Dynalock technology for a secure fit to your action. V-channel bedding accommodates free-floated barrels up to 1.35 inches. It's compatible with AICS magazines and mil-spec AR grips. A forward spigot location gives you optional ARCA rail extension, and there's a night vision bridge mount for thermal or optic interfaces. Everything on this platform was designed to be configurable without adding unnecessary weight.
The rear mounting interface uses a Picatinny rail instead of mil-spec buffer-tube threads. Your buttstock snaps on and off in seconds without tools, and you maintain repeatable zero because the mounting point doesn't shift. It's ideal if you need to detach your stock for storage, transport, or switching between configurations.
Yes. Any buttstock with a Picatinny attachment point will work on the UD Picatinny rear interface. You're not locked into Ultradyne stocks, so you have flexibility to choose what fits your build.
This UD6 is made for Remington 700 short actions, including SA clones like Bergara, Curtis Custom, Zermatt Origin, and Aero Solus. Contact Ultradyne directly if you have questions about specific clone compatibility.
The chassis itself is the same one-piece platform, but it accepts Ultradyne's adjustable grip system so you can tune trigger-finger distance to your hand. You'll also want to pair it with an adjustable buttstock if you need to adjust length of pull and cheek rise for your fit, which is sold separately.
