Under the wood, this gun runs Retay's Inertia Plus bolt system, which uses an internal torsion spring to rotate the bolt head fully into battery and keep it there. With six extended choke tubes in the box, including a long-range waterfowl tube, plus Retay's limited lifetime warranty behind it, the ACE-R is set up to handle just about any wingshooting you throw at it for a long time to come.
The ACE-R uses Retay's inertia-driven system, and like most inertia guns it runs best once it's broken in with a couple boxes of stouter loads.
