Description
This is a complete AR-15 lower receiver from Bravo Company built around their MK2 Recoil Mitigation System and finished in Flat Dark Earth. It ships ready to marry up to an upper, with all the internals, a Mod 3 stock, and a Gunfighter Mod 3 grip already installed. The blem tag just means the anodizing or machining picked up a small cosmetic mark somewhere along the line. Function and internals are untouched, so you're getting the full BCM package for less.
The receiver is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum forgings and wears a Type III hardcoat anodized finish, the same mil-spec construction BCM sends out on their standard guns. Inside you'll find a BCM PNT trigger, BCM trigger guard, and a low shelf that plays nice with RDIAS and Accuwedge setups. Fire controls are marked SAFE and SEMI, and it's rated multi-caliber, so whatever upper you drop on top, from 5.56 to 300 Blackout, this lower will run it.
What the MK2 RMS Brings to This BCM Lower
The heart of this build is the MK2 Recoil Mitigation System. It runs an intermediate-length receiver extension, roughly three-quarters of an inch longer than a carbine tube, paired with an M16A4 rifle spring and a heavier hardcoat anodized 7075-T6 buffer. The payoff is smoother, more consistent cycling and noticeably less felt recoil, which helps you track your hits through a red dot or LPVO and get back on target faster. It's BCM's answer to the A5-style setup and it makes a real difference behind short-barreled and suppressed guns.
Mod 3 Stock and Gunfighter Grip Details
Up top sits the BCM Mod 3 stock, a snag-free minimalist design shaved down to about 6.4 ounces with double-walled H-beam construction for durability. It accepts optional friction-fit marksman risers if you want a taller cheek weld for optics-heavy builds. The Gunfighter Mod 3 grip rounds out the ergonomics with a comfortable, aggressive texture that fills the hand well. Because of the MK2's added length, keep in mind some stocks won't collapse fully closed against the lock nut, which is normal for this system.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does the blem status mean on this BCM lower receiver?
Blem is short for blemish, meaning the receiver has a minor cosmetic flaw in the finish or machining. The internals, MK2 buffer system, and overall function are the same as a standard BCM lower. You're getting the full-quality build for less because of a mark you'll likely never notice on the range.
Do I need a separate upper to complete a rifle with this lower?
Yes. This is a complete lower receiver, so it includes the fire control group, stock, grip, and buffer system, but not an upper receiver, barrel, or bolt carrier group. Pair it with any mil-spec AR-15 upper to finish your build.
What caliber can I run on the BCM Mod 3 lower?
It's marked multi-caliber, so the cartridge is determined by the upper and barrel you pair with it. That means everything from 5.56 NATO to 300 Blackout will run on this lower without any changes to the receiver itself.
Will my regular AR stock collapse all the way on the MK2 system?
The MK2 receiver extension is about three-quarters of an inch longer than a standard carbine tube, so some stocks may not fully collapse against the lock nut. That's expected and doesn't affect function. The included Mod 3 stock is set up to work with this system out of the box.
