The Elite Tactical Systems 9-round extended magazine is designed specifically for the Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 9mm platform. Made from advanced polymer, this mag gives you a 9-round capacity versus the factory 7-round standard, which means a fuller grip and more rounds downrange before reloading.
The carbon smoke finish combines visibility with durability. You can still see your round count and ammo type through the translucent body, but the darker tint looks sharper than clear. The magazine resists impacts, heat, cold, UV exposure, and harsh chemicals, so it won't crack when dropped or become brittle over time in harsh conditions.
Internally, this mag uses a high-tensile steel spring and an injection-molded follower that resists tilting during feeding. The ergonomic floor plate is easy to grab from mag pouches and accepts most Glock-compatible baseplates if you want to customize the look. Disassembly is simple thanks to the specially designed baseplate. Made in the USA and covered by ETS's lifetime warranty.
Note that the 9-round capacity is tight and will require firm loading. When fully loaded, the mag is designed to be inserted while loaded. Empty mags may not lock in an unloaded firearm due to the controlled-tilt follower design.
Yes, this magazine is designed for the standard M&P Shield 9mm. It does not fit the Shield EZ, Shield Plus, or Shield 380. If you have the original Shield or the 2.0 version, it will fit.
