Description

The CDX-MC Kraken is a multi-caliber rifle that uses an innovative patented barrel change system to enable rapid caliber conversions while maintaining point-of-impact consistency. Cadex designed the Kraken to minimize shift of point of impact between takedown and reassembly of the same barrel. The system uses a traditional barrel-to-action threading method combined with a special tool to unscrew and torque the barrel from the breech side, and a single screw secures the chassis detachable base for fast conversion between short and long action calibers. The platform is purpose-built for precision and long-range shooting where repeatable accuracy after caliber changes is critical.
