The Primos TriggerStick 2-Point Gun Rest solves a common problem with traditional shooting sticks: keeping the rifle steady while you also work the trigger. Instead of a single V-yoke that still needs you to grip the forend, this attachment gives you two cradle points, one up front and one toward the butt, so the gun sits fully supported on its own. Two rubberized V-notches ride at either end of twin aluminum bars, and the rubber does double duty by soaking up recoil that might otherwise jar your shot. It bolts onto any tripod or TriggerStick with a 1/4-20 thread pattern, and it was built for the Gen 2 TriggerStick. If you run a Gen 3, you can adapt it using the Gen 3 Optics Mount (model 65502).
This rest was made for sitting hunters and blind setups. Ground blinds, brush, ambush spots for deer and hogs, anywhere you're planted and waiting rather than walking. It's also a real help for youth and disabled hunters, or anyone who doesn't shoot from a traditional standing stance, because the gun stays steady on the platform with far less muscle from the shooter. Folks running rifle-mounted night vision or thermal, where head position gets awkward, tend to love how solid it holds.
Height and tilt both adjust with simple clasps, so you can fine-tune your point of aim without fighting the setup. The tilt above the grip lets you drop or raise elevation and rotate through a full circle, which is handy when game moves. The whole thing folds down for transport and opens with a full range of travel to fit just about any long gun's forend and stock spacing. It won't out-shoot a concrete bench, but for field work it gets you awfully close to bench-rest steadiness in a package that packs away small.

It was designed for the Gen 2 TriggerStick, but you can run it on a Gen 3 by adding the Gen 3 Optics Mount, model number 65502. Without that adapter it's set up for the Gen 2 head. Anything with a standard 1/4-20 thread pattern will also accept it.
A standard V-yoke supports the forend only, so you still hold the gun against the sticks with your hand to keep it steady. The 2-Point Gun Rest cradles both the forend and the buttstock, letting the rifle sit fully supported on its own. That frees up your hands and makes it easier for less experienced or seated shooters to hold a solid point of aim.
As long as your tripod has a 1/4-20 thread pattern camera-style mount, it will thread right on. That covers most photo tripods and Primos TriggerStick models. If your tripod uses a different thread size like 5/16, you'd need an adapter to make it fit.
It's one of the better setups for that. Because the gun rests on two points and stays steady without much grip strength, it takes a lot of the physical effort out of holding a rifle on target. It also works well from ground blinds and seated positions where a standing shooting stance isn't practical.
