The 18 inch barrel wears a matte hard chrome finish, and the chrome treatment carries through the chamber, bore, magazine tube, and slide arms, which is exactly the kind of protection you want on a boat, at a coastal cabin, or anywhere humidity works on a gun faster than you can wipe it down. The matte black aluminum alloy receiver keeps weight sensible and comes drilled and tapped, so adding a scope base or red dot is a simple job.
This is one of the few defensive pump guns in its class that lets you tune the fit out of the box. Two interchangeable comb pieces adjust drop for a proper cheek weld whether you run the included TruGlo fiber optic front sight or mount an optic, and two quarter inch length of pull spacers let you dial in stock length. The synthetic pistol grip stock has textured gripping surfaces that stay put with wet hands, the ribbed forearm gives you solid purchase on the pump, and an Inflex recoil pad takes the sting out of heavier loads.
