It pairs precision-machined American walnut panels with a hard-anodized aluminum core, so you get the timeless look of a wood forend backed by the rigidity and heat stability of a metal system. The walnut is shaped and finished in Italy and assembled in the USA, and each piece carries its own grain and character.
The standout feature here is the M-LOK compatibility. You get M-LOK slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions, which means lights, hand stops, and other gear bolt right on while the wood keeps that vintage AK vibe. The forend also uses laser checkering for a secure hold in wet or gloved conditions, and the symmetrical shape works equally well for right and left handed users. A lightweight Technopolymer upper cover rounds out the build and keeps heat off your support hand during longer strings of fire.

Because receiver tolerances vary from one maker to the next, some light fitting can be part of the install, which is normal territory for AK furniture. Keep in mind the long version is not suited for short barrel setups, and the lower forend can interfere with an underfolding stock when it is folded.
