Built entirely from steel, this Government-size pistol runs the classic .45 ACP cartridge through a 5-inch barrel with a 1:16" twist rate, and it weighs in at 2.57 lbs with an 8.6-inch overall length — everything you'd expect from a properly built 1911.
The optic-ready setup is the headline feature here. Chiappa mills the slide to accept a micro reflex sight using the Shield RMSc footprint, and the pistol ships with two interchangeable mounting plates so you're not chasing down adapters after the fact. The iron sights are no afterthought either — you get a fiber optic front sight and a low-profile Novak-style rear with adjustable windage, so the gun is fully usable out of the box whether you add a dot or not.
