Description

There is nothing else on the rack that runs like a KRISS Vector. Instead of a straight blowback action slamming mass back and forth in line with your shoulder, the Vector's Super V system sends its recoiling mass down and behind the magwell, working against muzzle rise instead of feeding it. Combine that with a bore axis that sits below the trigger, roughly in line with your second knuckle, and you get a 9mm carbine that stays remarkably flat through fast strings. Your red dot barely moves between shots, and that is the whole point of this platform.

What Gen 3 Brings to the Vector CRB

The third generation is the biggest update KRISS has made to the Vector, and it addresses just about everything owners asked for. The trigger got a serious overhaul, with pre-travel cut from 3mm down to 0.7mm for a much cleaner break. The mag release is now reversible, the charging handle has been trimmed down, the bolt release is reshaped for easier use, and the redesigned lower accepts aftermarket pistol grips. The stock folds for compact transport and adjusts for length, and the new barrel shroud carries M-LOK slots so lights and hand stops bolt right on. The 16 inch barrel is 4140 chrome moly with a black nitride finish, threaded 1/2×28 for a brake or suppressor.

A Lipsey's Exclusive Two-Tone Finish

This particular configuration is a Lipsey's exclusive, pairing a black upper receiver with a Flat Dark Earth lower. It is a sharp look you will not find in the standard KRISS catalog, and it sets the carbine apart from the usual sea of all-black PCCs at the range.

Feeding the Vector Gen 3 Carbine

Magazine logistics could not be simpler. The Vector runs full-size Glock-pattern 9mm mags, which are cheap, proven, and probably already in your safe. KRISS includes one 40-round MagEx magazine in the box, which is a fun way to settle into a long range session without constant reloads. For PCC competition, steel plates, or just an entertaining day of shooting, this carbine earns its spot.

Frequently Asked Questions

What magazines does the KRISS Vector CRB Gen 3 use?

It runs full-size Glock-pattern 9mm magazines, so standard Glock 17 mags drop right in. KRISS includes one 40-round MagEx extended magazine in the box. Since Glock mags are affordable and available everywhere, keeping this carbine fed is about as easy as it gets.

How is the Gen 3 Vector different from the Gen 2?

Gen 3 is a major refresh. The trigger pre-travel was cut from 3mm to 0.7mm for a noticeably better pull, the mag release is now reversible, the charging handle was shortened, and the bolt release was reshaped. The lower also accepts aftermarket pistol grips, the stock folds for transport, and the new barrel shroud adds M-LOK slots for accessories.

Does the Super V system really reduce recoil?

It makes a real difference you can feel. Instead of the bolt cycling straight back at your shoulder, the recoiling mass is redirected downward behind the magwell, which fights muzzle rise instead of adding to it. Paired with an extremely low bore axis, the Vector shoots flatter than just about any other 9mm carbine out there.

Is the barrel on this Vector CRB threaded for a suppressor?

Yes, the 16 inch barrel is threaded 1/2×28, the standard pitch for 9mm muzzle devices and suppressors. The barrel itself is 4140 chrome moly with a durable black nitride finish, so it will hold up to high round counts at the range.
