The Liberty Precision Machine Duty 5.56 takes what people love about LPM's Torch line and trims it down into a simpler, more compact package. At 5.1 inches long, 1.75 inches in diameter, and 11.7 ounces without the mount, this can adds very little to the end of your rifle while still delivering strong muzzle suppression. LPM designed it around holistic signature reduction, meaning it's built to take care of the people standing next to you at the range, not just the person behind the trigger.
This suppressor was purpose-built for gas-operated rifles like the AR-15. It runs a solid end cap for maximum sound reduction at the muzzle, and it's rated for calibers up to 6mm with full-auto use on barrels as short as 7.5 inches. That's a tough little can. The tradeoff for the compact size is a bit more back pressure than the larger Torch, so tuning your gas system with an adjustable block or heavier buffer will get you the smoothest experience. That's true of most compact 5.56 cans, and it's worth the small effort.
The rear of the Duty uses the universal 1.375-24 HUB thread pattern, so you're not locked into one company's mounting ecosystem. Out of the box it ships with a DLC-coated titanium 1/2-28 direct thread adapter that weighs under an ounce, and you can swap in just about any HUB-compatible QD or direct thread mount down the road. The Graphite Black Cerakote finish keeps it low-key and durable, and the Serial ID Ring design makes maintenance and future service simpler.

The Duty is a simplified, more compact take on the Torch 5.56/6mm design. It's shorter and lighter, and it uses a fixed solid end cap instead of the Torch's interchangeable end cap system. The tradeoff is a bit more back pressure and gas blowback, so tuning your gas system is a smart move for the best shooting experience.
As a compact can with a solid end cap, the Duty produces moderate back pressure, which is normal for suppressors in this size class. LPM recommends tuning the host rifle, and running an adjustable gas block or a heavier buffer will noticeably cut down on gas to the face. Once tuned, it runs comfortably while still delivering strong sound reduction at the muzzle.
