The Advantage Arms MOD conversion kit lets you run .22 LR through your Glock 19 or 23 Gen 1-3 frame instead of 9mm or .40 S&W. Swapping it on takes about 30 seconds, roughly the same as a normal Glock takedown, and once it's mounted the pistol handles exactly like your carry or duty gun. Same grip angle, same trigger, same manual of arms. That's the whole point: you build reps and muscle memory on the platform you already know, just with rimfire ammo that costs a fraction of centerfire.
Inside the box you get a purpose-built slide with a 4.02" threaded barrel, two 15-round magazines, and a padded range bag to carry it all. The slide wears Glock-style fixed sights and has a recessed cut milled for a variety of red dot options, so if you already run an optic on your regular slide you can set one up here too. Note the kit is optics ready but the red dot and any needed adapter plate are not included. The threaded muzzle means it plays nice with a rimfire can, though very heavy suppressors can slow the lightweight aluminum slide, so lean toward lighter modern .22 cans if you want to run it suppressed.
Ammo choice matters more than anything else with any .22 conversion, and this one is no exception. Advantage Arms recommends 40 grain high-velocity loads, with CCI Mini Mag round nose being the long-standing favorite for consistency, and Remington 36 grain Golden Bullets running well too. Steer clear of hyper-velocity stuff like CCI Stingers and skip Remington Thunderbolts. The other half of the equation is lubrication. Keep the kit clean and run it wet. Rimfire is dirty, gunk builds up fast, and a well-oiled kit is what separates a smooth range day from a stack of stovepipes.
Bottom line, this is one of the more proven rimfire conversions out there. Feed it the right ammo, keep it oiled, and it turns cheap bricks of .22 into serious trigger time on the Glock you already trust.
The MOD kit is built for Glock 19 and 23 Gen 1 through Gen 3 frames. It is not compatible with Gen 4 or Gen 5 Glocks, so double-check your generation before ordering. If you have a Gen 4 or Gen 5, Advantage Arms makes separate kits sized for those.

Yes, the 4.02" barrel comes threaded so you can mount a .22 suppressor. Keep in mind the conversion slide is lightweight aluminum, so a heavy can may slow cycling and cause short strokes. Lighter, modern rimfire suppressors are the better match if you plan to run it quiet.
