The Spark feeds from double-stack Glock-pattern 9mm magazines, and one 15-round mag comes with the kit. If you own a Glock 17 or 19, those mags will run right in it, and aftermarket extended mags and drums are widely available. Factory Glock magazines tend to be the most reliable choice.
Not hard at all. The Spark uses a quick twist-off barrel system through the takedown tube, so switching between the 6.5 inch and 17 inch barrels takes just a few minutes with no gunsmithing required. That is what makes it practical to break down and carry in the included sling pack.
Yes, both the 6.5 inch and 17 inch barrels come threaded from the factory. JRC 9mm barrels use the common 1/2×28 thread pitch, so most 9mm suppressors, compensators, and muzzle brakes will spin right on. A blowback 9mm like this pairs nicely with a can.
It is a great fit. The straight blowback 9mm action produces very mild recoil, and the lightweight takedown design is easy to handle for just about anyone. The controls also mirror the AR platform closely enough that anyone with AR time will feel at home right away.
