The slide ships from the factory with a removable rear sight plate machined to accept the SIG ROMEOZero red dot directly — no adapter plates, no headaches. Any optic using the RMSc/SHIELD footprint will mount right up the same way. If you want to stay with irons, the adjustable fiber optic rear sight (also included) does a great job. The barrel is threaded, and a 1/2×28 adapter is in the box so you can thread on a .22 suppressor without any extra shopping. Two trigger shoes are included — a flat-faced option and a traditional curved one — and swapping between them is simple. The flat trigger ships installed from the factory and the break is predictable, with a quick and audible reset that keeps follow-up shots feeling natural. Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the slide release, safety, and a reversible magazine catch, so left-handed shooters aren't an afterthought. The serrated slide offers solid traction for manipulation, and the Picatinny rail under the frame is there whenever you want to add a light or laser.

Like most semi-auto .22 LR pistols, the P322 prefers high-velocity ammunition — generally rounds rated at 1,200 fps or above at the muzzle. Standard velocity and bulk "value pack" ammo can work but may cause more cycling issues, which is common across the rimfire pistol category and not unique to the P322. CCI Mini-Mag and similar high-velocity loads are a popular go-to.
Yes. The 10-round and 20-round P322 magazines are both factory SIG magazines and are interchangeable in the same pistol. The 20-round magazine will extend below the grip frame, while the 10-round version sits flush. SIG also offers a 25-round extended magazine that functions in any P322 but protrudes noticeably below the grip.
