Instead of the usual timing shims and guesswork, Reptilia uses a proprietary barrel nut paired with a turnbuckle design and anti-rotation tabs that index off the upper receiver. The barrel nut torques to 50 ft-lbs and the turnbuckle nut hand-tightens with red thread locker, and those tabs keep the rail aligned over the long haul. That matters when you're running IR lasers or night vision and can't afford a rail that drifts or flexes.
Full-length M-LOK slots run along the sides and bottom, with a continuous Picatinny top rail for optics, backup irons, and forward-mounted accessories. The internal dimension runs 33.5mm, and it drops onto any standard M4 upper receiver, so it slots cleanly into most AR-15 carbine, pistol, and SBR builds. At right around 12.6 ounces for the 15-inch, it keeps weight sensible for a rail this long.
