Three-lug mounts have been the go-to for quick attach on 9mm subguns and pistol-caliber carbines for decades, and for good reason. Twist on, click, shoot. The catch has always been the slop. Most 3-lug adapters develop a little wiggle that gets worse as they wear, and nobody enjoys watching their can shift around at the muzzle. Dead Air went after that problem directly with the P-Series 3-Lug Adapter by using a noticeably heavier spring than what you find on competing designs, so the suppressor locks up tight and stays that way.
The DA444 is machined from solid 17-4 stainless steel and wears a black nitride finish, so it shrugs off heat, blast, and the general abuse that comes with living on the front of a suppressor. It measures 1.52 inches long and weighs in at 4.3 ounces, which keeps the added length and weight on your host gun to a minimum. The body uses a sealed design that helps keep carbon from working its way into the mechanism, and when it finally does need attention, the whole thing breaks down for cleaning. That is a nice touch on a part that lives in one of the dirtiest spots on the gun.
This is the 9mm version, and it fits any standard HK-footprint male 3-lug barrel, so think MP5s and clones, B&T guns, and the pile of PCCs and 9mm barrels that ship with factory 3-lug muzzle devices. On the suppressor side, it drops into Dead Air's P-Series mounting system, covering the Wolfman, Wolf-9SD, Ghost 45M, Primal, and Mojave, and it plays nicely with the Pyro shroud setup as well. HUB suppressors can get in on it too with Dead Air's HUB to P-Series adapter. Swap this in place of your piston or fixed mount, and your can goes from pistol duty to subgun duty in about a minute. If your suppressor collection includes a P-Series can and your safe includes anything with three lugs on the barrel, this adapter earns its keep fast.
It fits Dead Air's P-Series mounting system, which covers the Wolfman, Wolf-9SD, Ghost 45M, Primal, and the Mojave line. It also works with HUB-pattern suppressors if you add Dead Air's HUB to P-Series adapter. It replaces your piston or fixed mount inside the rear of the can.
The DA444 is the 9mm version, built to fit any standard HK-footprint male 3-lug mount on a 9mm barrel. If you need to run a .45, .40, or 10mm 3-lug barrel, Dead Air makes a separate larger-bore version, the DA445. The two are not interchangeable, so match the adapter to your barrel's lug diameter.

Yes. The body uses a sealed design that keeps most carbon out during normal use, but it can be disassembled when it is time for maintenance. Given how much fouling builds up at the mount on a pistol-caliber suppressor, that serviceability is worth having.
