The Smith & Wesson M&P 5.7 is a full-size polymer-frame pistol chambered in 5.7 x 28 mm. It features a 5.0 inch threaded barrel, an optics-ready slide and a manual thumb safety, and ships with two 22-round magazines. The platform uses an internal hammer-fired, gas-operated, locked-breech TEMPO barrel system and carries a Black Armornite finish on stainless components.
Built for consistent performance on the range and for shooters who want an optics-ready 5.7 platform, the M&P 5.7 combines the TEMPO barrel system with a slim, textured grip and user-focused controls. Its threaded barrel, reversible magazine release and ambidextrous controls make it adaptable to a variety of setups, while the included high-capacity magazines keep you shooting longer between reloads.
