Description

The Magpul MBUS (Magpul Back-Up Sight) Front Sight, model MAG247-BLK, is a polymer folding backup sight designed for AR-15/M16 platforms. It is color injection molded and features a spring-loaded flip-up that can be activated from either side or by pressing the top release. The sight is adjustable for elevation and provides the same height over bore as a standard A2 front sight. Protective wings shield the spring-locking A2 front sight post.

The MBUS Front Sight fits most 1913 Picatinny-railed hand guards and is specifically tailored to AR-15/M16-style rifles. It is made in the USA. Note: it cannot be mounted to a railed gas block due to excess heat and is not compatible with MOE hand guards; the front MBUS must be mounted to a railed fore end on the same plane as the receiver rail.
