Trijicon's Fiber Sight Set fixes that with a glowing fiber optic front post that grabs light and gives your eye something bright to lock onto the instant you present the gun. The rear sight is blacked out on purpose, so nothing competes with that front reference and your focus lands exactly where it should.
These use the same fiber optic material Trijicon builds into scopes like the battle-proven ACOG, so the aiming point is genuinely bright without being fragile. The bodies are machined and phosphated steel, so they hold up to daily carry, holster wear, and heavy range use. The front blade runs a thin .110" width with a .268" overall height, which keeps the sight picture clean and precise instead of blocking your target.
The set ships with a .060" red fiber pre-installed up front, plus an extra red and green fiber pack in the box so you can swap to whichever color your eye picks up faster. Red tends to pop against green outdoor backgrounds while green reads brighter for a lot of folks in lower light, so it's nice having both on hand. If a fiber ever wears out down the road, replacement packs are easy to find and simple to change.
Beyond the bright front, the rear sight has a steeply hooked front surface that lets you rack the slide one-handed against a belt or holster in a pinch, and the edges are rounded to cut down on snag points when carrying concealed. This set fits the Glock 42, 43, 43X, 43E, and 48, excluding MOS models. Trijicon recommends professional installation since these are steel sights that need to be drifted into the dovetail, and it's backed by Trijicon's limited lifetime warranty.

Trijicon recommends professional installation. These are steel sights that need to be drifted into the dovetail with a sight pusher for proper fit and windage, and the front typically needs to be secured correctly. A gunsmith or anyone with a proper sight tool can knock it out quickly.
They work well for both. The fiber front gives you a fast, high-contrast aiming point in daylight, and the blacked-out rear keeps your focus on that front dot. The rounded rear edges and one-handed rack ledge make it a practical carry setup, though keep in mind fiber optic sights are not illuminated in the dark like tritium night sights.
