It is machined from a single piece of billet 7075-T6 aluminum and finished to MIL-STD Type III, Class 2 hard anodize in Flat Dark Earth for corrosion resistance and long service life. The mount secures to M1913 Picatinny rails using an anti-snag, spring-loaded nitrided steel clamp and a custom bolt system for a low-profile fit.
