The Hogue 87000 Monogrip is a one-piece rubber grip tailored for use with the Ruger Security Six and Police Service Six frames produced post-1976 (serial prefix 151 and above). It is constructed from over-molded rubber and features finger grooves and a textured surface to improve handling and recoil management. This model installs by sliding on from the bottom and is secured with a patented steel “stirrup” that clips over the existing stock pin or bottom strap. Note: this grip does not fit .22 caliber models and is also reported to fit the Manurhin MR 88.
