It is designed for a direct-to-receiver attachment with no moving parts between the mount and the rifle receiver, providing stable alignment and enhanced durability. The Game Reaper construction is intended to absorb shock and resist temperature-related stresses better than comparable steel mounts. Base screws are 6-48 x 1/4″ and ring screws are 6-40 x 5/8″, both using a 7/64″ Allen wrench; the receiver is rounded on the front and back where mounts attach.
