The Arsenal AR-M14SFT is the civilian semi-auto take on Arsenal's Bulgarian-made Military Special Ops AR-M14SF TACT, packed into a short-barreled rifle that's built to run hard. It's chambered in 7.62×39, feeds from standard AK mags, and wears an 8.5" chrome lined hammer forged barrel up front. This is the black finish version that ships in a custom Arsenal hard case with foam inserts, so everything shows up protected and organized.
The heart of this rifle is the milled receiver, and Arsenal does it differently than most. Each receiver is milled from a hot-die hammer forged blank rather than plain bar stock, a process that produces stronger, finer-grained steel without the internal voids you get from other methods. That extra rigidity translates to a platform that feels dense and solid in the hands and holds up through years of use. You also get a FIME Group FM-922EUS enhanced fire control group, which is a genuinely good two-stage trigger by AK standards.
The 8.5" barrel is chrome lined and hammer forged, threaded 24×1.5mm right-hand, and topped with a Bulgarian 4-piece Cerakoted flash hider. Up front you've got the classic front sight block and gas block combination running a short gas system for reliable cycling in a compact package. Polymer ribbed handguards with a stainless steel heatshield keep things cool, and there's an adjustable rear sight for zeroing.
Arsenal's CNC machined hard anodized aluminum tactical stock folds to the right side and brings better ergonomics in a lighter, stronger design. It includes two non-rotating QD points for a precise sling setup, and there are rear QD attachment points on both sides of the receiver so you can run your sling how you like. Add in the ambidextrous safety, comfortable pistol grip, and the side scope rail for optic mounting, and you've got a seriously well-rounded short AK that's ready to go right out of the case.
Most AKs use stamped sheet metal receivers, and even many milled AKs are machined from plain bar stock. Arsenal mills each receiver from a hot-die hammer forged blank, which produces stronger, finer-grained steel free of internal voids and cooling deformations. That extra step gives the rifle a dense, rigid feel and the kind of durability that holds up through heavy use.
Yes. The 8.5" chrome lined barrel is threaded 24×1.5mm right-hand and comes fitted with a Bulgarian 4-piece Cerakoted flash hider from the factory. That same thread pitch makes it easy to swap on other compatible muzzle devices down the road.
It uses Arsenal's CNC machined hard anodized aluminum tactical stock that folds to the right side for a more compact footprint. The stock carries two non-rotating QD points, and there are additional rear QD attachment points on both sides of the receiver. A Mil-Spec sling with a QD attachment is included in the box.
Yes, it comes with a side scope rail on the receiver for mounting optics using an AK-style side rail mount. You'll also still have the front sight block and adjustable rear sight for iron sight use when you want it.
