The Howa M1500 APC Gray Flag is one of those packages that makes buying a precision rifle refreshingly simple. It takes Howa's proven 1500 barreled action, drops it into an aluminum APC chassis finished in a sharp grayscale American flag Cerakote, and sends it out the door with the glass, bipod, and mags already included. Chambered in 25 Creedmoor, it rides on a 24-inch heavy threaded barrel with a 5/8×24 muzzle and a factory muzzle brake, giving you the kind of flat-shooting, low-recoil setup that the 25 Creedmoor was built around.
The foundation here is the Howa 1500 action, a design with a long reputation for shooting well above its price bracket. It runs a HACT two-stage trigger with a clean break and a three-position safety, both of which give you real control when you're settling in for a precise shot. The 24-inch heavy contour barrel is carbon steel, threaded 5/8×24, and spins a 1-in-10 twist that works nicely with the bullet weights the 25 Creedmoor likes to throw downrange.
The chassis side is where this package earns its keep. The Luth-AR MBA-4 buttstock adjusts for both length of pull and cheek height, so building a repeatable cheek weld is easy whether you're prone behind the bipod or set up on a bench. Howa even throws in two grips, a Hogue finger-groove and an MDT, letting you run whichever shape fits your hand best. Feeding comes from detachable 10-round magazines, and three of them come in the box.
Between the included Nikko Stirling 4-16×50 Diamond long range scope, the adjustable bipod, the muzzle brake, and the trio of magazines, this is about as close to ready-to-run as a precision rifle gets. Mount and zero the optic and you've got a capable rig for steel at distance, load development, or a flat-shooting hunting setup in a cartridge that's quickly earning a loyal following.
Yes, this is a complete package. It ships with a Nikko Stirling Diamond 4-16×50 long range scope, an adjustable bipod, a muzzle brake, three 10-round magazines, and two grips. Once you mount and zero the optic, you're set for the range.
It is. The 24-inch heavy contour barrel comes threaded 5/8×24 and wears a factory muzzle brake out of the box. That same thread pattern lets you swap in other compatible muzzle devices or a suppressor down the road.
This rifle runs a 1-in-10 twist, which suits the bullet weights the 25 Creedmoor is designed around. The cartridge is known for flat trajectories, low recoil, and strong wind performance, making it a fun and capable option for long-range steel and hunting alike.
The Luth-AR MBA-4 buttstock adjusts for both length of pull and cheek height, so you can build a consistent cheek weld whether you're shooting prone off the bipod or from a bench. The package also includes two different grips so you can run whichever feels best in your hand.
