Amend2 AR-15 Mod-A 30rd Magazine 5.56/.223 Desert Frogskin Camo

Description

The Amend2 Mod-A takes a proven AR-15 magazine layout and sharpens it up with better materials and smarter geometry. This 30-rounder feeds 5.56×45 NATO and .223 Remington, drops into any standard AR-15 or M4-pattern lower, and wears a custom Desert Frogskin camo finish that looks good whether it's riding in a chest rig or sitting in your range bag. It's the kind of mag you load, run hard, and stop thinking about.

What Sets the Mod-A Apart

The body is molded from fiberglass-reinforced nylon, which gives it noticeably more stiffness than a standard polymer mag while keeping the same impact resistance Amend2 built its name on. That added rigidity matters where it counts, around the feed lips. Less flex means less feed lip spread over time, and that translates directly to more consistent round presentation and fewer hiccups when you're cycling fast. Amend2 also upgraded the internals with a heat-treated, non-memory, non-corrosive stainless-steel spring, so it keeps the same spring pressure whether it's been loaded for a weekend or a few years.

Handling and Grip on the Amend2 Mod-A

Amend2 reworked the texture for this generation. The front and rear faces carry an aggressive grip pattern that stays controllable in wet or gloved hands, while the side panels are left smooth so the mag slides free of plate carriers and pouches without snagging. Grab it, index it, slam it home, repeat. It's a small thing until you're doing reloads under a timer or in bad weather, and then it's the difference between smooth and fumbling.

A Solid Pick for Your AR-15 Rotation

Between the reinforced body, the tuned feed lips, and that stainless spring, the Mod-A runs like a workhorse and holds up to real use. The Desert Frogskin camo is a nice bonus if you want your mags to match a build or just stand out from the sea of black polymer. Grab a handful and you've got dependable feeding across range days, training, and everything in between.
