The Reformation RS7 is one of the more interesting builds Franklin Armory has ever put out, and this version comes with the BFSIII AR-Essential binary trigger already installed from the factory. Flip to the third selector position and the trigger fires one round on the pull and another on the release, which cuts split times way down and makes range sessions a whole lot of fun. Chambered in 5.56 NATO with a 30+1 capacity, it feeds from standard AR pattern magazines and runs a pistol-length gas system behind a salt bath nitride bolt carrier.
The heart of this firearm is Franklin Armory's patented NRS barrel. Instead of traditional rifling, the 7.5 inch barrel uses a straight-cut land and groove design, a genuinely unique piece of engineering you will not find anywhere else. Up front, the Triumvir muzzle device handles flash suppression and helps keep the muzzle settled during those fast binary strings. The 7 inch FST M-LOK handguard gives you real estate for lights and accessories, and the full-length top rail is ready for whatever optic you want to mount, since no sights come installed.
Franklin Armory did not cut corners on furniture or materials here. The upper and lower receivers are forged 7075-T6 aluminum with a hardcoat anodized finish, and the B5 Systems package includes the Bravo collapsible stock, P-Grip 23, and a short vertical foregrip that gives you solid control on such a compact platform.
