The Ruger RXM is a great platform out of the box, but the polymer grip module is the first thing most owners want to upgrade. The Icarus Precision ACE RXM X swaps that factory frame for a chunk of precision-machined 7075 billet aluminum, and the difference is hard to overstate. At 6.8 ounces, it adds meaningful weight right where you want it, soaking up recoil and flattening muzzle rise so your sights settle back on target faster. This is the X version, which stretches the grip to Glock 17 length, so 17 round mags sit perfectly flush and there is plenty of real estate for larger hands.
Icarus did not just copy the factory frame in metal. The 360 degree machined texture locks into your palm without shredding it, the undercut trigger guard lets you choke up high, and the extended beavertail keeps your grip anchored through recoil. Ambidextrous contoured thumb index points give both your strong and support thumbs a consistent home. There are also optional slots for two tungsten weights, sold separately, if you want to push the balance even further toward a competition feel.
The RXM X is built around your RXM fire control unit and works with the stock slide as well as Gen 3 Glock 19 pattern slides. It runs Glock 17 length magazines and takes a Gen 4 Glock magazine release. It also accepts ZEV OZ9 magwells and drops into OZ9 holsters plus most light bearing G19 holsters, so finding carry or range gear is simple. Keep in mind the module comes stripped, so you will transfer your slide lock and mag release spring from the OEM grip and pick up a Gen 4 mag release.

No. The X version is built to Glock 17 grip length, so G17 length magazines sit flush and G19 mags will not work in it. If you want to run Glock 19 length mags, Icarus makes a separate Compact version of this module.
It ships stripped, so no. You can transfer the mag release spring, slide lock, and slide lock spring from your factory RXM grip module, but you will need to pick up a Gen 4 Glock magazine release since the OEM RXM release does not carry over. It is a quick swap with basic tools.
The RXM X is shaped to work with ZEV OZ9 holsters and most light bearing Glock 19 holsters. Open-bottom and light bearing designs tend to be the safest bet since the grip length differs from a bare G19 profile. Several holster makers also list dedicated fits for the Icarus RXM modules.
