Q LLC built the Q-Sert system to get away from the usual M-LOK tabs and screws, and this Deluxe Vertical Grip is one of the accessories that shows what that system can do. Instead of clamping onto a rail slot, it locks directly into the stainless steel inserts already built into a Q-Sert handguard, giving you a grip that stays put instead of shifting around after a few hundred rounds.
Q-Sert skips the usual locking tabs and springs in favor of stainless steel inserts embedded right into the handguard, with the grip securing to those inserts through direct screw engagement. Those inserts are rated to handle roughly 900 pounds of pull-out force, so once this grip is tightened down it isn't walking under recoil or coming loose during a long day at the range. No extra tools needed for swaps either, just line it up with the insert and tighten it down by hand.
This one is cut from 6061 aluminum and finished with a clear hardcoat anodizing that gives it a brighter, more polished silver look than the standard gray finish you see on most handguards. It's a small detail, but it stands out against a black or gray build and matches up nicely if you're running other pieces from Q's Deluxe Q-Sert lineup.
