The MDT ACC Elite Chassis takes MDT's flagship competition platform, the same one you'll see stacked up on the line at just about every major PRS match, and fits it to the Savage 110 short action. This is a right hand configuration finished in black, and it's built for shooters who want a rifle that settles fast, holds its zero, and adjusts to fit exactly how you shoot instead of the other way around.
A strengthened forend, solid center base, and a connector bar tying the grip section to the buttstock give this chassis a platform that simply does not flex or twist when you're loaded into a barricade or coming off a hard recoil impulse. Custom-cut grip tape on the underside of the forend helps the rifle bite into bags and props instead of sliding around, so your position stays consistent from the first shot of a stage to the last.
The included SRS-X Elite buttstock is fully toolless, letting you adjust cheek rest height, fore and aft position, length of pull, and buttpad height on the fly without hunting for an allen key. Pair that with the Vertical Grip Elite and its backbar, plus the adjustable M-LOK thumb rests on both sides, and you can build a hand and cheek position that repeats itself every single time you get behind the rifle. The magwell and latch are adjustable too, which cuts out the slop you sometimes get when running a chassis across different actions.
The 19 inch M-LOK forend carries a full-length integrated ARCA rail and is drilled and tapped to accept MDT's Night Vision Hood or Control Bridge if you decide to add one later. Bare, the chassis comes in around 6.1 pounds, but between the internal and external weight ports in the forend and the compatible buttstock weight, you can push that up toward 16.6 pounds to find the exact balance point that keeps your rifle settled under recoil. It runs standard AICS-pattern magazines and will also accept AR-15 style pistol grips if you ever want to swap off the included Vertical Grip Elite.
This particular chassis is built specifically for the Savage 110 short action in a right hand configuration, so it won't work on long action Savage receivers or left hand actions. Make sure your action matches short action Savage 110 specs before ordering since the inlet is machined to that exact footprint.
No, the chassis itself does not include a magazine. It's built around an adjustable magwell that runs standard AICS pattern magazines, so you'll want to pick up magazines separately in your chamber's caliber.
Yes, that's one of the main things this chassis is built for. The forend has both interior and exterior weight mounting points and the buttstock can take additional weight too, so you can shift the balance point forward or back depending on how you like the rifle to handle.
The chassis ships with the Vertical Grip Elite and backbar already set up, but the grip interface is also compatible with standard AR-15 style pistol grips. So if you've got a favorite grip you're used to running, you can swap it in without any modification.
