Tikka rifles shoot well right out of the box, but the factory stock is usually the weakest link in the whole package. MDT built the Field Stock to fix exactly that. Instead of relying on plastic-to-metal contact points that can shift with temperature and humidity, this chassis uses a 6061 aluminum core wrapped in an overmolded polymer body, so you get a stable bedding surface where it counts and a warm, comfortable grip everywhere else. It's a straightforward swap for anyone who wants a noticeable accuracy bump without turning their hunting rifle into a full-blown competition chassis.
This version of the Field Stock is inletted for right-handed Tikka T3 and T3x short action rifles, so there's no guessing on fitment. At the heart of it is an integrated aluminum V-block bedding system that gives the action a consistent, repeatable point of contact and lets the barrel free float cleanly through the forend. Drop your barreled action in, snug down the two main screws, and you're good to go. No gunsmithing, no epoxy, no waiting around for glue to cure.
Every shooter is built a little different, and this stock accounts for that. Length of pull adjusts using a spacer system, and the cheek riser moves without tools so you can get your eye lined up behind a scope quickly and consistently. Combine that with the flat dark earth polymer finish, which stays comfortable to hold even when it's cold outside, and you've got a stock that adapts to you instead of the other way around.
The forend carries M-LOK slots on the bottom and sides, so bipods, rail sections, or ARCA plates bolt on without any extra hardware. Sling swivel studs come pre-installed on the forend and buttstock for a traditional sling or bipod setup right out of the box. On the feeding side, the Field Stock converts your Tikka to run AICS-pattern magazines through an ambidextrous paddle release, which opens up a lot more magazine options than what came with the rifle originally.
