It comes set up and ready for .25 caliber brass, with the matching pilot already included. The three-way carbide design handles trimming, deburring, and chamfering in a single pass, which is a big part of why the MatchMaster setup is so fast on the bench.
Instead of running three separate steps, the adjustable carbide blades cut the case mouth to length while chamfering the inside and deburring the outside all at once. That means less handling per case and more consistency across a batch, which is exactly what you want when you're prepping brass for precision work. These heads are machined from 416 stainless steel and custom finished so they hold up to real volume on the bench. It is not cross-compatible with the older Trim Pro series or other RCBS trimmers, since the MatchMaster cutter heads, pilots, and collets were designed as their own unique system.
