Most compact rifles feel like an afterthought, a full-size gun with the stock lopped off and nothing else changed. The Fierce CF Rogue Mini 2 takes the opposite approach. Fierce built this one from the ground up for youth, ladies, and smaller-framed hunters, pairing their proven Dual-Lug stainless steel action with a Mini-Rogue C3 carbon stock and a 20 inch C3 match grade carbon fiber barrel. At around 5.8 pounds bare, it carries easy on long walks and holds steady when it matters.
Fit is where this rifle earns its keep. The length of pull starts at a short 12.75 inches, and Fierce includes two quarter-inch spacers so you can stretch it out as a young hunter grows. The adjustable comb lets you dial in proper cheek weld behind whatever scope you mount, which does more for consistent accuracy than most people give it credit for. The trigger comes set at a clean 2.5 pounds and adjusts from 1.5 to 4, so there is no gritty, heavy factory pull to fight through.
The 22 Creedmoor chambering is a smart match for this platform. It sends heavy .22 caliber bullets fast and flat with very little recoil, which makes it a natural for coyotes, varmints, and range work, and the 1-in-8 twist stabilizes the long, high-BC bullets the cartridge was made for. Feeding comes from a detachable magazine with 3+1 capacity, and the threaded muzzle is ready for a brake or suppressor to knock the already mild recoil down even further.
The black Cerakote metalwork and Trophy camo carbon stock look sharp in the field, and the spiral fluted bolt with a 70 degree throw keeps cycling quick and clears low-mounted scopes. Fierce machines and assembles these rifles in Utah, backs them with an accuracy guarantee, and covers them with a limited lifetime warranty. For a first serious rifle or a lightweight rig for a smaller shooter, this one is tough to beat.
Fierce built the Mini Rogue specifically for youth, ladies, and smaller-framed hunters. The 12.75 inch length of pull is noticeably shorter than a standard rifle, and the included spacers let you add length as a shooter grows. Plenty of smaller adults also prefer this fit over wrestling with a full-size stock.
The 22 Creedmoor is a fast, flat-shooting cartridge that shines on coyotes, prairie dogs, and other varmints out to serious distances. With heavier bonded or monolithic bullets, plenty of folks use it on deer and antelope as well. Recoil is very light, which makes it a great pairing with this compact rifle for newer or smaller shooters.
Yes, the 20 inch C3 carbon fiber barrel comes with a threaded muzzle, so you can run a suppressor or muzzle brake. Given how mild 22 Creedmoor already is, adding a can makes this rifle exceptionally pleasant to shoot, especially for a young hunter learning the ropes.
Fierce backs its Rogue line with a sub-MOA accuracy guarantee, thanks to the hand-lapped match grade barrel and stiff carbon fiber construction. The adjustable trigger comes set at a crisp 2.5 pounds from the factory, and the adjustable comb helps you get consistent eye alignment behind the scope, both of which make that accuracy easier to use in the real world.
