For years, the go-to move for Tikka fans in precision matches was buying a CTR and dropping it into an aftermarket chassis. The T3x Ace Target skips all that. This is Tikka's purpose-built competition rifle, and this version pairs it with the flat-shooting 6mm Creedmoor, a favorite in PRS circles for its mild recoil and excellent ballistics at distance.
The cold hammer forged, heavy contour barrel runs a fast 1:7.5 twist, which handles the heavy-for-caliber match bullets this cartridge was built around. The extra length wrings out more velocity for flatter trajectories and less wind drift way out past where most ranges end. The muzzle is threaded 5/8×24 and capped, so adding a brake or suppressor takes about a minute. Up top, a factory-installed 20 MOA Picatinny rail gives you the extra elevation long-range work demands.
The aluminum Ace chassis is where this rifle separates itself. Length of pull, cheek riser height, and recoil pad position all adjust to fit you, and the AR-compatible pistol grip can be tuned for angle and reach. A full-length ARCA rail with barricade stop runs under the M-LOK forend, so bipods and tripod clamps attach anywhere you need them. The skeletonized buttstock even accepts optional weights for balancing the rifle in positional stages. Better still, the chassis is compatible with T3, T3x, and T1x barreled actions, so it can host a rimfire trainer down the road.

Yes. The 26 inch barrel runs a fast 1:7.5 twist, which is quicker than the typical 1:8 and comfortably stabilizes the 105 to 110 grain match bullets most 6mm Creedmoor shooters run. Combined with the long barrel's added velocity, it is set up well for long-range and PRS-style work.
It is. The muzzle comes threaded in the common 5/8×24 pattern and ships with a thread protector installed. Most popular brakes and suppressor mounts will spin right on with no gunsmithing needed.
You can, and it is one of the coolest parts of this platform. The Ace chassis accepts T3, T3x, and even rimfire T1x barreled actions thanks to interchangeable magazine well inserts. That means one chassis can serve as both your centerfire match rifle and a rimfire trainer setup.
There are no iron sights, but the receiver wears a factory-installed 20 MOA Picatinny rail. That built-in cant gives you extra elevation adjustment for stretching your scope's turret travel at long range. Just add rings or a one-piece mount and your optic of choice.
