The Ruger RXM is what happens when Ruger and Magpul put their heads together on a striker-fired 9mm. At the heart of it is a removable, serialized stainless steel Fire Control Insert that drops into an interchangeable Magpul Enhanced Handgun Grip. That setup is the whole point here: the serialized chassis is the firearm, so you can swap grip frames down the road to change up feel, size, or color without buying a whole new pistol.

This particular model runs a 4.5" alloy steel barrel with a black FNC nitride finish, threaded 1/2×28 with a factory-installed thread protector. If you've been wanting to mount a can or a compensator, this is the version to grab. Ruger even includes a heavier 18 lb guide rod and recoil spring assembly so you can tune cycling once you've got a suppressor hanging off the end. The barrel uses a 1:10 right-hand twist that handles common 9mm loads without fuss.

Up top, the slide is cut for direct mounting of RMR, DeltaPoint Pro, and RMSc footprint optics, which covers just about every popular micro red dot on the market. The co-witness-height steel sights include a tritium front, so you've got a usable sight picture day or night, with or without a dot installed. You also get front and rear serrations, a flat-faced trigger with a tactile reset, an extended magazine release, and a raised slide stop.
