The AmeriGlo GL-112T is a front-only tritium sight built to replace that stock plastic Glock front blade with something you can trust in every lighting condition. It pairs a green tritium lamp with a bright white outline ring, so you get a fast, easy-to-find aiming point whether you're at the range in broad daylight or clearing a dim hallway at 2 a.m. The .165" height is factory stock, which means it drops right in without changing your point of impact if you leave your rear sight alone.
The body is machined from case-hardened steel with a low-glare finish, so it holds up to holster wear and years of carry without dulling or peeling. Serrations across the face cut down on glare bouncing back at you under bright sun or harsh range lighting. The .125" blade width is the classic Glock front profile, which lines up cleanly in most standard notch rear sights for a clean, uncluttered sight picture.
This one fits all Glock models, which makes it a versatile pick whether you're running a 17, 19, 43, 34, or anything in between. Keep in mind this is a front sight only, so if you want a matched set you'll pair it with an AmeriGlo rear or your existing rear blade. The front sight uses the standard hex screw mount on the underside of the slide, and a proper sight tool and a dab of thread locker make the swap straightforward. If you're not comfortable working on your slide, any gunsmith can knock it out in a few minutes.
Tritium is the real draw here. Unlike glow paint that fades after a few hours, the tritium lamp self-illuminates around the clock with no charging and no batteries, giving you a dependable green glow that's there the moment you need it. For a duty gun, a nightstand pistol, or a daily carry, that always-on front dot is one of the most practical upgrades you can make.
Yes, the GL-112T is designed to fit all Glock models, from the compact 43 up through full-size guns like the 17 and 34. It uses the standard Glock front sight mounting screw on the underside of the slide. Since it's a stock .165" height, it works well on standard-height setups without changing your zero if you keep your existing rear sight.
This is a front sight only. You'll either pair it with your current rear blade or match it up with an AmeriGlo rear sight for a complete set. A lot of folks buy just the front to add a tritium aiming point while keeping their factory rear.
Tritium is self-luminous and doesn't need light exposure or batteries to charge, so the green dot glows on its own day and night. Over time the glow gradually dims as the tritium ages, but a fresh lamp gives you many years of reliable low-light visibility. That always-on front dot is what makes it a favorite for carry and home-defense guns.
You can if you have the right tools. The front sight secures with a hex screw underneath the slide, so a proper front sight tool and a little thread locker will get it done cleanly. If you'd rather not tinker with your slide, any gunsmith can install it quickly.
