The Luth-AR Cheek Piece Assembly is built to give you that extra height you need for a solid cheek weld when running optics on your AR. It's a straightforward upgrade that mounts directly to MBA-2 and MBA-4 buttstocks, providing up to 1 inch of vertical adjustment. If you've got an MBA-1 or MBA-3 with a damaged or worn cheek rest, this assembly also serves as a reliable replacement.
You get everything you need in the box to get this installed. The kit includes a cheek plate, lockplate, steel thumb screw, hex nut, star lock washer, and side plates that work with both rifle and carbine configurations. Two button head cap screws and nyloc nuts round out the package so you're ready to go right out of the door.
Like all Luth-AR components, this cheek assembly is molded from glass-filled nylon polymer in black, which means it's lightweight without sacrificing durability. The material holds up to hard use and consistent cycling. You get the same quality and build standards that Luth-AR applies across their entire buttstock line, engineered to military specifications.
Once installed, the assembly uses a thumb screw for infinitely adjustable height that you can fine-tune without tools. The design is simple but effective, letting you dial in your cheek rest position exactly where it needs to be. Note that this assembly isn't compatible with the MBA-5 buttstock, which uses a non-adjustable flared cheek rest by design.
The CHP-1 is designed to add adjustable cheek height to MBA-2 and MBA-4 buttstocks. It can also function as a replacement cheek rest for MBA-1 or MBA-3 stocks if the original becomes damaged or lost. The assembly is not compatible with the MBA-5 buttstock.
This assembly provides up to 1 inch of vertical adjustment to your cheek rest. The height is infinitely adjustable using the included thumb screw, so you can dial in exactly the right amount of rise for your shooting position and optic setup.
Installation is straightforward and requires no special tools. The kit comes with all necessary hardware including side plates that match both rifle-length MBA-1/2 and carbine-length MBA-3/4 stocks. Most people can complete installation in a short amount of time by following the online installation video provided by Luth-AR.
This assembly is specifically designed for the Luth-AR MBA line of buttstocks. It won't fit other AR stock designs. If you need an adjustable cheek rest for a different stock platform, you'll need a product designed for that specific model.
