The body is machined from heat-treated aircraft-grade aluminum and finished in hard-coat anodized black Teflon, which shrugs off scuffs, moisture, and the general abuse of field and range use. Inside you'll find a 17-7 PH stainless spring chosen specifically for corrosion resistance, so it holds up whether it lives in a truck, a hunting pack, or a range bag. The caliber is laser engraved right on the body, which is a small thing that pays off big when you've got mixed mags in your kit and don't want to confuse it with a 5.56.
