It links the X-10 Bullet Feeder Collator (sold separately) to the press so bullets drop into place automatically, letting you keep both hands on the operation and your eyes on the rounds coming off the plate. For anyone loading high volumes of .223 and other .22 caliber cartridges, this is where the real time savings start to show up.
The kit includes the caliber-specific pieces you need to make the feeder work: a bullet collator plate, the bullet feed and shuttle assembly, and a micrometer adjustable seating die. The whole bullet feed system integrates right into the X-10 tool head, so it feeds and seats the bullet in the same station. That's a nice touch, because it frees up a station for a crimp die or another operation instead of eating one up just to set the bullet.
The micrometer seating die adjusts in 0.001 inch increments, which makes fine-tuning your overall length quick and repeatable. Once you find the sweet spot for a given load, you can return to it without guesswork. The die also has an on/off switch, so you can pause the feed when you need to run a few manually or clear the station.
