You get a green tritium front dot wrapped in a white outline and a two-dot green tritium rear with matching white outlines, so you're running a clean, symmetrical 3-dot picture that reads the same whether you're at the range in broad daylight or clearing a dark hallway. AmeriGlo warranties the green tritium lamps to glow for 12 years from the date of manufacture. Tritium loses brightness slowly over time because of natural radioactive decay, so the dots will still work well past that point, just a bit dimmer. Green is the brightest tritium color to the human eye, which is why it holds up so well for defensive use.
